Letter: In a joint operation carried out by Gujarat Anti-Terrorism (ATS) and the City Police Special Operations Group (SOG), a 45-year-old man involved in making a fake passport and Visas from various countries caught from the Mota Varachha area.
, The police recovered a total of four passports with visa stamps from the defendant.
Police arrested Irfan Ayyubismail Aadam, 45, a resident of Mota Varachha, for allegedly dealing with a false passport and visa.
The police suspected that the defendant used a passport and Visas issued on behalf of other individuals to make fake travel documents for some of his customers.
The team received specific information about Aadam’s activities after that they brought help and accused the defendant.
“In his own passport he got several placed visas and ATS would investigate whether the visa was real,” said a SOG officer.
The police also found that the defendant had knowledge to prepare for investment certificates to secure Dominican’s passport.
“Using a Dominican passport one can get a visa for other countries easily.
This is a practice known by those who deal with fake visas,” police said.
In the past, Aadam was ordered in seven violations registered with Bharuch, Vadodara, Mehsana, Mumbai and Kolkata.
Recently, he was ordered by Amroli police for doing alleged fraud by offering clients abroad.
