Coimbatore: A 40-year-old man from Kuniyahuthur has been arrested for making a call to the city police control room on Monday night, he stated he planted a bomb in the ukkadam permanent and the Kuniyamuthur area and they would soon rise.
The police identified the defendant as peer Mohammed, a resident of Senthamizh Nagar in Kuniyamuthur.
A police officer said Mohammed had summoned the city police control room on the campus of the police coming on Monday night to threaten that the bomb would go in the region of Ukkadam Kiayakulam and Kuniyamuthur immediately.
“He ended the call suddenly, without divulging the details.” The officer said Mohammed previously made a similar call bomb call.
“He called the police who stated that the bomb would go on Marina Beach.
He was arrested in that case too.” Tnn
