Tirupur: A 29-year-old man and two small daughters were found dead at Vellakovil here on Thursday night.
Police identify them as R Jagan, indigenous people of Thutikulam Village in Vellakovil, and his daughters J Tejasri, 4 and J Subasri, 2.
Jagan, a goat trader, living with his wife Gayathri, 27, and daughters in a rented house in Kasipallayam Colony of Mudiganam Village in Career.
“The initial question revealed that he had borrowed Lakh Rupees from several people and depression because he could not pay.
On Thursday afternoon, Jagan took his daughter to the Thutikulam and met his sister.
Then, he went to the farm near his sister’s house and pushed Children to the well before jumping into it, “said a police officer.
Meanwhile, Gayathri, who can’t reach her husband, contact her relatives.
Relatives find the body in the well.
Fire service personnel and rescue took the bodies on Friday morning.
They were handed over to the family after postmortem.
Vellakovil police have registered the case.
