Jaipur: A 30-year-old new man based in Delhi was stabbed to death in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area (VKI) for the forbidden lover affair on Tuesday morning.
The victim, identified as Yogesh Kumar, has come to Jaipur to meet a woman who is married to who he is suspected of having a secret love relationship.
When the woman’s husband got the smell of their affair, he stabbed him several times before slitting his throat with sharp objects.
According to DCP (West) Richa Tomar, the incident occurred when the defendant heard his wife spoke to the victim at 4 in the morning.
“The victim came to meet the woman on Tuesday.
He had called the woman in the morning so she had arrived.
Her husband heard their conversation and followed his wife to the bus stop,” he said.
The police said that the woman left her house to meet Yogesh, the defendant secretly followed his wife to the meeting place and faced him.
Siguffle briefly broke out and the defendant had panicked to attack him with a knife.
When Yogesh tried to fight, the defendant tarnished his throat with the same weapon.
The police said that the defendant escaped from the scene while Yogesh lay in a pool of blood, he was transported to the hospital where he later died.
A VIKI police team was told about the incident and they arrived at the place to preserve the crime scene.
The FSL team collected evidence from the place when the police questioned several people and learned that the murder was the result of a love affair.
Exhibit Prima Facie shows that the defendant worked in the city as a memo dealer.
His wife is a native of New Delhi and has met Yogesh in one of his visits there.
The police said that the defendant would soon be released because the team had been formed to track it.
“Introduction investigations have indicated that the terrible murder was the result of a love affair because the defendant had heard his wife spoke to Yogesh in the morning.
He decided to face his wife’s lover and killed him,” said an official.
