City: A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death by an acquaintance in a village here on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m.
at Purohitji Ki Digi in Chowk in the Bundi City Police Station area where Rizwan, a Mohalla Mahalla resident at the Gate of Meera, was killed while his friend, Abid, a citizen of Bhrimpuri, a sustainable injury, circle Inspector (CI) Sahadev Meena said.
The murder case was submitted to the complaint of the Rizwan family against Banti Suman (26), his friend Aameen (30) and about three other unknown men.
Suman and Aameen have been detained, said CI.
Two days ago, Rizwan had slapped Sumban following an argument for problems related to money, police said.
On Sunday morning, Suman went with his friends to take revenge against Rizwan, who tried to escape.
However, Suman caught him on the road on the market and attacked a lot of attacks on him with a knife, he added.
Abid jumped to defend the victim and was injured in the attack.
Rizwan suffered an injury in his stomach and chest and fainted, according to the police.
Locals at the Charbhuja Temple remain a mute audience while one of the victim’s friends took him to the hospital with a scooter.
Rizwan died soon after.
Wounded youth, Abid was sent home after primary medical treatment.
Police troops and Jawan RAC were deployed in the city and the main area of the city to avoid unwanted incidents.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family demanded the compensation for RS 10 Lakh and government work.
They held a demonstration and refused to accept the body after postmortem, but negotiations between family members and administration were underway to resolve this problem.
