Coimbatore: A 30-year-old man who works in a textile showroom near Saranallur was ordered for trying to rape a woman’s colleague on Saturday night.
When the woman tried to stop her, she hit the woman, said a police officer who was bound to the female police station in Ramanathapuram.
The woman got her being accepted at a government hospital in the city.
Based on the complaint from the woman, a case was registered by the police and investigations were underway.
Inspector Dowlath Nisha said the defendant approached the woman by rapid.
When he opposed, he beat him badly.
The incident took place on Saturday night after the showroom was closed and the woman waited on the roadside for her father to pick her up.
Inspector added that the search was ongoing to be accused.
