NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday accused the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) of humiliating after a short meeting with PM Modi on the devastation caused by Cyclone Yaas chose a contentious turn.
The central authorities in addition to many senior ministers had accused Mamata of bypassing the assembly and earning PM Modi wait.
Saying the controversy, the Mamata said she felt as BJP leaders along with the country were called for its cyclone review meeting that was supposed to be between the Prime Minister.

“If Prime Minister asked me to get his toes to get welfare of those of Bengal, I’m prepared to do this; however I shouldn’t be insulted,” she explained.
Have a dig in the Prime Minister, Mamata accused Modi of enjoying”vendetta politics” because he’s yet to come into terms with the BJP’s defeat at the new West Bengal elections.
The West Bengal chief minister said that tweets submitted by many senior ministers from her were supposed to”tarnish her picture”.
A controversy had broken over PM Narendra Modi’s trip to Kalaikunda to get an overview of Cyclone Yaas, together with BJP and central police officers stating that Mamata Banerjee practically jumped the assembly after putting some newspapers in Modi’s palms, stating she had other agendas.
