MEERUT / AGRA: Hundreds of people suffering from viral fever, Community Health Center (CHCS) and Primary Health Center (PHCS) in all Western districts on Thursday even as the worst Firozabad District reported five children’s deaths again in the last 24 hours in 24 hours.
The death toll in Firozabad has now increased to 65 in the last three weeks, with 50 patients into children, according to sources in the Ministry of Health.
The source also told TII that at least 5,000 people in the district are expected to lie in bed with fever at home or in private hospitals.
In Baghpat, the public health center recorded 20 patients with high fever on Thursday while facilities at Muzaffarmagar also witnessed a number of patients with viral infections.

Ajay Kumar, a resident of Daman Village, lost his four-year-old son to disease last week.

Police have been deployed at medical colleges and other government health centers to maintain legal and order situations.
On Thursday, a team from the center of the National Center (NCDC) also arrived in the district at the command of the Ministry of Health to study the outbreak of viral fever.
