Sydney: More than 250 people who protested Coronavirus Lockowns in Australia were arrested on Saturday and many fine-faced fines to oppose health orders, the authorities said.
At least seven police officers were treated for injury after the battle penetrated several protests, which took place in various cities nationally.
The biggest and most cruel protest is in Melbourne.
Many are organized by people in encrypted online chat groups.
Sydney has been locked for two months, while Melbourne and the capital, Canberra, went to the lock earlier this month.
Under locking rules, people are mostly limited to their homes and have limits placed on their social interactions.
Apart from the steps, Sydney New South Wales State reported a record of 825 new daily community infections on Saturday.
Some cities fought against a very contagious Delta variant outbreak.
Protesters say how come it must end, but the authorities say they need to suppress the spread of the virus and save lives.
In Melbourne, the crowd of around 4,000 most of the protesters opened the guise of releasing flares, shouting and blowing up music in the city center.
Victoria state police arrested 218 people and spent more than 200 fines, each for more than 5,400 Australian dollars ($ 3,850).
Six Victoria State Police officers were hospitalized and three people remained in detention because the suspicion attacked the police.
Officers use pepper spray in some people, by saying in a statement they are left without choice.
In the state of New South Wales, the police said they arrested 47 people and fined more than 260 in connection with protests throughout the state.
They also issued 137 tickets after stopping around 38,000 cars approaching the city.
New South Wales police officer said a 32-year-old man who allegedly attacked an officer arrested and they were expected to file a claim.
Officers were taken to the regional hospital for a head and neck injury, said the authorities.
Deputy Commissioner of New South Wales Mal Lanyon said the police hoped to identify more people through CCTV and social media recordings.
More than 2,000 people also gathered at Brisbane City Botanic Gardens to join locking and vaccine steps, although the state police Queensland said they did not make arrests.
