Hundreds pay the last respect with the Stalwart Cong that has departed

Udupi / Mangaluru: Mortal remnants of former UNI minister and members of Rajya Saba Oscar Fernandes are stored for the community to pay their respect, in his hometown in Udupi, and in Mangaluru on Tuesday.
Hundreds of good congressional and sympathizers from Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts paid their final respect for members of Parliament, and many offered condolences to his wife Blossom Fernandes and Oshan and Oshanie children.
The remnants of mortal were taken to the Mother of the Sorrows Church in Udupi, where prayer services were carried out in the morning.

The public was permitted to have the last glimpse of the veteran leader at the Bhavan Congress in Brahmagiri in Udupi.
The Minister of Social Welfare of Srinivas Poojari, District Udupi Police Inspector N Vishnuvardhan and Zilla Panchayat Ceonaveen Bhat also paid their last respect with Oscar.
Then, mortal remains were taken to the DCC office in Mangaluru at 3:30 in the afternoon, and stored for the community to pay their last respect until 5pm.
KPCC President D K Shivakumar, the work of President R Dhruvanarayana, the leaders of the Congress of Dakshina Kannada District, Deputy Commissioner of Police Commissioner and City Police N Shashi Kumar paid homage to those who had died.
Then, the body shifted to Morgue Pastor Muller Hospital.
Shivakumar remembers that Oscar is a soft and intellectual leader in politics.
“He lives life without controversy, and has the capacity to solve problems in society.
The leader served as a liaison between the state and central government.
He treats everyone equally, without considering their political caste, religion and affiliation.
This is his dedication and willingness The strong ones make it a high leader and a friend who loyal to the Gandhi family.
He scales a major altitude in politics gradually, after serving the community at the grassroots level, “he said.
Praising Oscar’s achievement, the Head of the KPCC said that it was during his tenure as a minister of labor, that employment laws in India saw revolutionary changes.
The last rite in Bengaluru tomorrow, mortal remains will be taken to the Milagres Church in Mangaluru at 9:30 a.m.
After the public pays their respect, a mass will be held in the church starting at 12 noon.
Then, the body will be flown to Bengaluru.
On Thursday, the public will be allowed to pay their last respect at the KPCC office in Bengaluru, starting at 10 am to 12 nights.
From 3.30 a.m.
and so on, the final blessing ceremony will be held at St Patrick’s Church, and then the funeral will be held at Hosur’s cemetery.
