Hunger in Afghanistan, people sell children and body parts: WFP

Berlin (Germany): Head of the UN World Food Program (WFP) again expressed concern for the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and added that Afghans had used their children and their body parts to survive.
The Head of WFP David basically urged the international community to accelerate the delivery of aid to Afghanistan because half of the population was starving in the country.
Afghanistan struggled with drought, pandemic, economic collapse, and years of conflict years.

The participants recognized the steps taken to facilitate access to humanitarian, men and women, while also expressing concerns that there were still certain obstacles, and participants also reaffirmed the importance of eliminating all conditions and obstacles to sending humanitarian aid, added statements.
