Ahmedabad: Himanshu Shukla, a terrorist hunter of Gujarat and Nemesis criminals who harden, say goodbye to his colleagues at ATS on Friday.
Shukla, who dug ATS, headed to Delhi.
The 2005-batch IPS officer is one of the rare police officers to serve in the crime and ATS branch in Gujarat.
He has now been appointed to the director’s class at the 1st Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat.
In Gujarat, Shukla draws praise as a Case Cracker ACE, handling a series of difficult investigations.
He will be in the center deputation for four years.
Notification for the effect was issued by the State House Department.
Notification stated that the Ministry of Home Union sent a letter on November 21 on Shukla’s center deputation.
After serving in the AHMedabad crime branch between 2010 and 2015, Shukla posted as SP, Operations, Gujarat ATS.
After joining AT, he continued to draw praise by solving one case after another.
In February 2019, Shukla was promoted to excavation, ATS.
Shukla, who received a BTECH title from IIT-Kharagpur, has secured the 54th rank in the UPSC exam and could become an IAS officer.
But he chose to become a police officer to remove terrorists.
Shukla believes that its most satisfying achievements are solving terror cases and identifying the terror module of these clothes as Indian Mujahideen involved in the 2008 Serial explosion of Ahmedabad.

Only a few people know that while serving as ASP Vadodara Rural, Shukla has followed in the footsteps of famous criminals and loots accusing Mehraj Guddu to the income and shot in the stomach during the arrest on August 17, 2007.

After Stint Vadodara, Shukla functions as ASP in Sabarkantha.

Shukla is the main power behind the detection of Kamlesh Tiwari’s murder case, the arrest of Serial Killer Gandhinagar in 2019, and the arrest of Aide Chhota Shakil from Ahmedabad Hotel in 2020.
