Mexico City: Hurricane Rick headed to the South Pacific Coast of Mexico Sunday and is expected to reach the land on Monday morning.
The US National Storm Center said Rick had an 85-mile high-free wind (140 KPJ) and is expected to go somewhere around the port of Lazaro Cardenas and Zihuatanejo resort.
However, wind and rain storms can also affect the greater Acapulco resort to the east.
The storm was centered around 95 miles (155 kilometers) south of Zihuatanejo in midapechnore and moved north at 5 mph (7 kph).
This center warns that Rick can produce flash floods and landslides in the mountainous field on the coast.
