Gurgaon: A husband who isolated attack his wife with a dumbbell stem on a busy road in the 10th area of the city.
The woman, who experienced many injuries, was rescued by commuting and was taken to the hospital.
The couple had lived separately for the past eight months and had a seven-year-old daughter of their marriage.
The woman has filed a divorce and was involved in the battle of prisoners for the child, who currently lives with the Father.
The problem is waiting before the court in Gurgaon.
Sunaina (26) works with the marketing department of a private company and live in Gandhi Nagar.
On Saturday, when he came home from work, her husband Ajit (30), a Ola driver with a profession, intercepted him near Umang Bharadwaj Chowk.
The residents of Barai Enclave, Ajit, have been waiting for his wife at the intersection, hiding the Dumbbell stem in his jacket.
He tried to stop Sunaina, but he opposed his progress and asked him to clear his way.
That’s when Ajit suddenly pulled out the dumbbell stem and hit Sunaina in the head.
Before he could react, Ajit began to hit him several times with a stick.
He suffered an injury to his head and also broke his left bony.
Hearing his shout, commuting came to save him when he had escaped from the place.
He was taken to the nearest hospital and medical staff there told the police.
“He appeared out of nowhere and began to hit me.
He first hit his head and when I raised his hand to protect myself, he began to hit me in hand,” Sunaina said, adding that the divorce case was waiting before the court.
The team from the 10 police station reached the hospital after receiving the news of the incident, but the doctors said that Sunain was seriously injured and his statement could not be recorded on that day, Station House Officer (SHO) from Sector 10, said Naveen Kumar.
On Sunday, the police recorded his statement and a registered case below Section 323 (causing injury), 325 (pointed injury) and 506 (criminal intimidation) IPC.
The accusation was arrested on Monday and was released on a guarantee.
