Hyderabad: Wing Wing of Hyderabad Metropolitan Air Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS & SB) broke the illegal water connection racket and closed a total of 130 illegal water connections.
Furthermore, four criminal cases were also ordered to property owners at Jawaharnagar P S.
This was the first incident, in the city and in HMWS & SB history, that vigilance wings were arrested 130 illegal water connections at a time.
At the end, the wings of vigilance on Wednesday, attacked the KCR colony in the Circle of Kapra GHMC in Hyderabad and captured a total of 130 illegal water connections, red hands.
“During the investigation, the citizenship wing found that four people from the KCR colony formed ‘housing welfare associations’ and involved in violations to install this illegal water connection.
All of these connections are installed in different places in the same colony, without HMWS & SB permission,” Pirupati, Inspector of wing vigilance, who carried out an attack, to TI.
Based on complaints of HMWS & SB in this attack, four criminal cases have been registered by Jawaharnagar police on Rwa members, said a water council official.
