Hyderabad: Police Nagar Asif Nagar arrested three bicycle thieves and recovered eight stolen bikes worth Rs 5 lakh from their ownership.
Acting on specific information, the Asifnagar police arrested Sivaratri Chandu, 18, a private worker from Piduguralla in Guntur, Chi Siva Naga Teja, 22, a private employee from Kundanbagh and G Madhu, 28, a worker from Venkat Reddy Nagar in NarsaraOpet, Guntur District , They recovered eight bikes stolen in recent months from their ownership.
“The accusation is accustomed to living beyond their ability.
To support their expenses, they decided to do the theft of a 150/220 cc bike that was just used parked on the streets,” said West Commissioner Zone Ar Srinivas.
Chandu is used to do theft by breaking the handle key and starting the vehicle by entering a safety pin into the ignition switch.
Chandu told the police that he studied this trick to watch videos on YouTube.
Teja sobbed the chandu and they were safe to keep stolen bikes with Madhu in NarasaraOpet in Guntur, police said.
After a series of violations in the Asif Nagar area, the police specialized team analyzed CCTV footage in various places near the crime scene and identified the suspect.
The police tracked their movements and captured offenders while carrying out vehicle checks at Asif Nagar on Monday.
“The stolen vehicle was restored from NarsaraOpet in the Guntur district and the defendant along with restored bikes would be produced before the court for Judicial detention,” said the West Zone police.
