Hyderabad: For almost a month after the Supreme Court, said the detention of the suspect under the prevention of Telangana from the Law of Dangerous Activities (PD ACT) for the assumption that the defendant could disrupt the law and order was ‘Draconian’, two police commissioners had used old actions to hold 31 people with Various accusations.
Hearing an appeal that challenged the arrest of the detention by police cyberabad against the white-collar perpetrator, the peak court had been on July 9 referring to the use of indiscriminately as ‘Draconian’.
Apart from the statement of the APEX court, Police Commissioner Rachakonda and Cyberabad had resisted Musclemen, thieves, peddlers, brothels, and cyber criminals under the PD Law.
The action was again the center of attention on Monday when the arrest of the detention of Cyberabad police against 35-year-old legal graduates, B Ravikanth, was scored by SC.
When doing so, the APEX court observed that to request PD action against offenders, it was not enough to say that the defendant’s actions pose a threat to law and order, but they also had to affect public order.
But between July 9 and August 2, 2021 Hyderabad police have requested a PD Law against 31 people.
The city of Hyderabad has three commissioners – Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Hyderabad.
Of the 31 cases, Cyberabad police have taken action against 22 people and police Rachakonda opposes nine.

Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar said that they followed the procedure to request PD action.
“I fully agree that PD actions must be called on violators who are a threat to public order.
That is why we have requested action against major offenders,” Kumar said.
