HYDERABAD: Ongoing its path of activity against hospitals according to complaints from Covid-19 sufferers, the Telangana authorities on Tuesday prohibited six additional hospitals from damaging Covid-19 patients.
Additionally, eight show cause notices were slapped in bicycles.
The Most Current from the list of physicians to have dropped their permit are now — KIMS Hospital at Secunderabad, Sunshine Hospitals at Gachibowli, Century Hospital at Banjara Hills, Lotus Hospital at Lakdikapul, Medisys Hospital at LB Nagar and Integro Hospital at Rethibowli.
This was the fourth evening of cancellation of permits within the previous week, beginning Friday, and currently a total of 22 physicians have lost their permits to deal with Covid-19 patients.
The amount of hospitals that have come under fire during the previous week today stand at 113, though a total of 174 show cause notices are slapped on these hospitals according to individual’s grievances.
“Many complaints are received against private associations in terms of insignificant and excess fees, mismanagement, lack of appropriate care etc.” explained Dr G Srinivasa Rao, director of public health, Telangana.
“We’ve initiated actions against eight hospitals now along with a number of 113 hospitals whereas six physicians are banned from treating patients having an instant impact,” added Dr Rao.
The official cautioned physicians to comply by the prescribed pricing standards.
Ahead of the state authorities had cancelled permits of Padmaja Hospital, Lifeline Medicure Hospital, Max maintenance Hospital, TX Hospital, Lalitha Hospital, Sri Sai Ram Hospital, Picture Hospital, and Ankura Hospital, Sia life Hospital, and Panchavati Hospital, Sai Siddartha Hospital, Virinchi Hospital, Vinn Hospital, Max Health Hospital and Neelima Hospital, over alleged violations of criteria.
