HYD: Balatur Ganesh Laddu Auctioned for RS 18.9L

Hyderabad: The famous Laddu Ganesh Laddu has taken Rs of 18.9 lakh which was defeat this year after the auction opened.
The auction was won by Marri Shasshank Reddy who bought a gold-plated laddu that weighed 21kg.
About 19 people participated in auctions.
Offers for Laddu begins at RS 1.116 and has increased in the supply process.
In 2020, the UTSV committee did not hold auction due to Pandemic Covid-19, in 2019, the Laddu was sold for RS 17.60 lakh.
Laddu auction has become a tradition on Immersion Day Ganesh for more than 26 years now.
The first auction from Balatur Laddu went for RS 450 in 1994.
The bidder participating in the Balapur Laddu auction offer felt it brought good luck, health and wealth.
Ahead of the auction, Balatur Ganesh Idol was paraded on the streets of Balaturur, and reached the auction at 10 am.
The worshipers brought Lord Ganesha’s idol for soaking at Lake Sagar Hussain.
