Hyderabad: There is a big rush for reception in pre-primary and primary classes throughout the city with many top schools that receive a large number of applications from parents.
Many Secondary Education Council (CBSE) and the council for schools Check Indian School Certificates (CICSE) recently started the reception process for all classes.
Last year, reception in pre-primary and primary classes had slumped in many schools because of a pandemic.
However, this year, many parents have decided to miss a year because of their ward because the pandemic is now scrambling to enter.
“I have to admit my son in the nursery class last year.
However, because of the pandemic, I decided not to admit it and vice versa in his schools.
With things slowly return to normal, I want to recognize my son for the next academic year to begin in June , “said Vidya Nair, a parent.
Schools recognize that they have received a higher number of applications than parents this year.
“Compared to last year, the number of applications specifically for the primary class (class 1 to class 5) has doubled this year.
We recently held a lottery for the pre-primary part and continue to get the application for the same thing.
It seems that many parents are Leaving the city last year now back and look for entrance tickets to their ward, “said Narasimha Reddy, Principal of Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur.
This year, mode online and conventional processes are open to receipts.
“We started the online receipt process on February 6 and in less than 24 hours, we received more than 700 applications.
We expect a good response from parents this year,” said Lata Shankar, Public School Principal Public School P Obul Reddy.
Budget schools also expect an increase in the entry season this year, which will begin in April.
Last year, many parents have moved their wards to government schools because of a pandemic.
