HYDERABAD: After a month of combating Covid-19 having a very severe lung disease — his CT seriousness score of 25/25 — a 32-year older body builder in town has walked from the hospital, regained.
Malkajgiri resident, Susheel Kumar Gaikwad, who’s represented Telangana in many contests, created Covid-19 symptoms in the past week of April and was later admitted to a nearby hospital in early May.
Since his illness steadily began threatening, he had been hurried into Yashoda Hospital on May 19 by which a multidisciplinary team such as pulmonologists, intensive care experts, respiratory care, physiotherapy and allied experts attended .
Doctors treating Susheel stated his dramatic healing is rooted in a variety of motives: inherent health, positive attitude, dedication and readiness to confront the chances.
In other words, the youthful body builder has become a role model for critically-ill patients.
“He’s fully recovered today from being nearly on the brink of passing.
He requires oxygenaround one or two liters, so when walking is mostly comfy without oxygen .
We can not state anything about his most recent CT score because there were coexisting fungal and bacterial lung disease also,” explained Dr Vishveshwaran Balasubramanian, mature pulmonologist, Yashoda Hospitals, Malakpet.
