HYDERABAD: The long-drawn lockdown, combined with confusion within Covid-19 Legislation, has negatively affected heaps of couples — from India and abroad — awaiting visit Hyderabad to their fertility processes.
With no clarity on when traveling limitations and other bans will be raised, these parents-to-be state their stress levels are peaking, particularly with many having waited for decades to take home a baby.
Aside from in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment, dozens of couples go to the city each month to go for surrogacy.
It’s one of the top cities in India to provide these processes.
“We’re in our mid-40s and worry our chances in parenthood could dry up, when we do not begin the process shortly,” said Roshan K* by a little town in Karnataka.
