HYD: Four Link Roads opened to reduce the IT corridor

Hyderabad: Trying to end the misery of the old traffic, Greater Hyderabad Municipal (GHMC) Corporation on Monday opened four vital links in the IT corridor to various parts of the city.
Linkage is expected to make life easy for thousands of commuters, who struggle to navigate the way out of Jntu who are busy to the hi-tec city road and also increase connectivity from Miyapur, Sardar Patel Nagar, Vasanth Nagar and KPHB phase 6 to the city of TEC and Hafeezpet Road.
Pemintas Road Links, City Administration and Urban Development (Maud) Minister KT Rama Rao said so far 16 roads have been opened in the city and six more will soon be developed.
“The road plays an important role in the development of the city.
These roads will reduce traffic congestion in the city,” he said, adding that 133 road links were being developed in stages.
Link Road from Nizampet Crossroads to Hitex Junction has appeared at a cost of 7.41 crore.
The road starts from Nizampet X Road Traverses through Vasanth Nagar, Mahindra Ashvita, a housing, and NAC compound to the Condapur Golf Court.
Miyapur Metro Depot to Kondapur Mosque Junction Link Road has been developed at a cost of Rs 2.87 Crore and starting from the NH-65 near the Air Board Office and Track through Colony IDPL employees, the circle of Jalan Novotel Hotel and ends in condolur junction mosque.
