HYD locals complain of loudspeakers in the ganesh process

Hyderabad: annoyed with a blaring loudspeaker all night, the celebration belonging to Ganesh Utsaav, a resident of opposite Hyderabad reaches the city police to complain about soaking procession issued during odd hours.
“@HydCityPolice …
Ganesha procession plays music that is very loud at 2am.
It is very difficult because I have old grandmothers and pregnant wives and it affects their sleep schedule,” Tweeted Harhing K, a resident of Musheerabad.
Netizens also complained about DJs and drums played in various pandals at high volumes, adding pollution noise.
“@HydCityPolice people play drums from 4pm and almost 11:30.
I don’t know what time permission for the Imersi Ganesh.
But it’s too hard.
Can you check,” Tweeted Rajendra Jena, from Sri Ram Nagar, from Sri Raj.
Noise pollution regulations (control and regulation), 2000 stated that loudspeakers could not be used without obtaining written permission.
The Telangana High Court also, in a recent order at soaking made from Plaster Idol Paris Ganesh, stated that the use of loudspeakers should not be allowed after 10pm at a pandal.
However, many seem to violate this norm by using it shamelessly, especially during the dyeing process.
“Hi @HydCityPolice @GHMC Is there a non-stop noise restriction from the apartment taking the Ganesh procession at 10 nights? Or do people should accept this as usual and try to sleep regardless?,” Tweeted Akhil Tandulwadikar, a resident of Ameerpet.
Police officials clarified that even though the procession was allowed after 10pm, the use of loudspeakers was not on the order of the court.
