Hyderabad: The day after the sensational murder of the women’s software engineer in Tirupati, where in her husband tried to project it as death because Covid-19, in a similar case a car driver was arrested by Rachakonda police on Saturday because he also killed his wife and buried it by claiming that he was Died of Coronavirus.
Police Rachakonda said that this incident occurred below the boundaries of the Vanasthalipuram police station.
On June 24, the police received complaints from Dhanavath Bujji who claimed that he was suspicious that his 21-year-old daughter Ramavath Kavitha on June 18, may not be natural.
Kavitha’s husband Ramavath Vijay told his parents that he died of Coronavirus.
But family members suspected when Vijay asked them not to touch the bodies of his wife since he had Covid-19.
Even though there was his mother and a little other relatives touched Kavitha’s body and cried by falling on his body.
“People who cry by falling in Kavitha, no one is infected with Coronavirus.
This is the reason for suspicion and his mother submitting a complaint,” said Police Commissioner Rachakonda Mahesh Bhagwat.
Officials said that Kavitha’s body was excavated and then the post mortem examination was carried out.
Meanwhile, the police during the investigation learned that the victim was tested negative after taking Covid-19 one week before he was killed.
The defendant, when he was baked, he claimed not to die from Coronavirus and he smothered him to death.
“He killed him by strangling him to death using a pillow when he fell asleep , When he asked him about the motive behind the murder, the defendant said that he suspected his character and therefore he killed him.
The defendant was arrested and he produced before the judge.
