Hyderabad: Three of every four people in the city have been tested positive for Covid-19 in their family network, friends and neighbors in the past two weeks, revealing surveys by the resident involvement platform.
The third wave of Covid, driven by Omicron variants, spread extensively produces a great prevalence of infection.
To understand how the situation has changed since December 10, 2021, Localcircles – Residents’ involvement platform – conducting a survey that recorded a response of more than 18,500 respondents from various cities, including Hyderabad.
“The percentage of residents who know more than five individuals in testing networks near their positive in the last 30 days has soared from the Nile on January 3 to January 10.
Increasingly 36 percent on January 17.
This means that the prevalence of Covid shows a continuous increase,” Read survey.
In accordance with the survey, 77 percent of residents have a person tested positive in the last 30 days.
Nearly 41 percent of residents say they have one or more individuals on social networks near those who despite having Covid-19 symptoms in the last 30 days do not complete the RT-PCR test and also ignore self-insulation norms.
“Most people now prefer to take home antigen tests or skip tests at all, thus, treat Covid-19 infections such as ordinary viral fever.
