Hyderabad: Siddipet District Authority in Telangana has imposed a fine of RS 5,000 on home food shop owners to use plastic materials that are prohibited.
The municipality of Siddipet found that Kumar’s home food in Hyderabad Road has kept plastic cover and glasses and punishes him.
The special team that has formed in the municipality while patrolling at night finds that someone carries a large package and waste from them thrown on the road.
The bag contains waste materials from women’s hostels.
Authorities imposed a RS 15,000 penalty to dispose of waste material.
The authorities also get the material taken to the hostel and get it separated into wet waste and dry waste to be disposed of in the right way.
