Hyderabad: The Sleuth Task Force has captured two vendors suspected of selling hash oil to students and other clients in the city.
They also confiscated 25 smuggled bottles along with two cellphones from their ownership.
The task of the Sleuth unit along with the SR Nagar police has caught MD Ibrahim Khan, 30, a worker from Borabanda, and MD Khaja Mubeenuddin, 22, a student from Yousufguda, in having 25 bottles of hashish oil.
“Each bottle contains five milliliters of hash oil and the total value of the total smuggle confiscated by our team is Rs 1 Lakh,” said South Zone Satch Inspector Raghavendra.
The main defendant MD Mahabub Ali from Borabanda is a close friend of Ibrahim.
Ali was in the run and he had previously been involved in three robbery cases and attempts to kill below the PS Madhapur limit.
According to police, Ali and Ibrahim are addicted to marijuana and hashish.
“Duo along with Mubeen decided to get hash oil from suppliers in Visakhapatnam Regency at a price of 1,000 per bottle and sell it in Hyderabad for Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 a Vial,” said Inspector.
In interrogation, the two accused accused of admitting that they have targeted children by offering contraband goods at prices less than market prices and so they are addicted, orders will increase by mouth to mouth and profits will also follow.
In the tip-off, the police arrested offenders in Borabanda when they sold smuggled goods to customers.
