Hyd Techie is held for the threat of rape against Cricketer’s daughter

Mumbai: A IT engineer from Hyderabad has been arrested for posting the threat of rape against the nine-month daughter of Indian cricket stars on Twitter after India lost their first match with the Arch Rival Pakistan at the T20 World Cup on October 24.
Ramnagsh Akubathini (23), a native resident of Ranga Reddy District who worked with a startup based in Bengaluru, continuing to change his profile on social media to make a criketer before he was finally tracked.
Akubatthini’s father said his son fainted from IIT Hyderabad two years ago.
He was in his hometown during the arrest when his employer had let him work from home during a pandemic.
Akubathini was taken by the Mumbai police team.
The Cyber ​​Police Station in the Kurla Bandra Complex (BKC) has booked it under the Indian Criminal Code section 354 (a) (sexual abuse), 506 (criminal intimidation), 500 (deficacy) and under the Act Information Technology section 67, 67 ( B) (Punishment for publishing or transmitting material that describes children in sexually explicit actions, in electronic form).
He will be produced before the Esplanade court on Thursday.
A cyber police officer said the defendant used a fake name on social media to cover his footsteps while removing threats.
“He uses technical means to hide his identity in the online room to make it difficult for an investigation agent to track it,” the officer said.
Akubathini drove Cricketer and his wife and threatened to attack sexual of their nine-year-old girls because it came out to support the team’s partner after the match against Pakistan was missing.
“Attacking someone for their religion is the saddest thing that someone can do as a human,” Cricketer said.
Commissioner with the Police (crime) Milind Bharambe said the police team had brought the suspect to Mumbai.
“People think they can go free to hide their identity on social media and use false profiles.
Cyber ​​teams are equipped to track them,” said DCP (Mumbai-cyber) from Rashmi Kandandikar.
The Delhi Commission for women had taken Suo Motu to record tweets and asked the police to submit FIR and were accused.
