Hyderabad: Cannot bear the torment of her husband, a 32-year-old woman in Chouppal killed himself after hanging the two little daughters in their home on Thursday.
His youngest daughter, three years old, who was also hung, survived, police said.
The police said that T Umarani and his daughter Harshini, 12, and Lasya, 8, died, while the three-year-old Shaky held on to the attic.
Umarani uses Saree to hang her daughter Harshini and Lasya from the hook of the ceiling fan.
Likewise, he used another saree to hang himself and his youngest daughter.
While Umards died, Shaky was found alive and cried to ask for help.
About hearing his cry, some locals came to their homes and saw Shainy fighting a lifetime.
They climbed the roof, broke the asbestos sheet and saved the girl.
Umarani’s husband, Venkatesh was sleeping outside the home when his wife hung their daughter and killed himself.
The police suspected that since Venkatesh was used to seize Umards after being drunk, he took extreme steps.
