Hyderabad: Former Minister in United Andhra Pradesh and currently TRS MLA, Danam Nagender, and his driver was punished by the Nampelal court for attacking someone in the Banjara Hills police station in 2013.
He was directed to undergo 6 months in prison and a fine.

After giving punishment, the court guarantees a prisoner by allowing them to appeal the court ruling in a month.
In 2013, when the complainant, Subba Rao, traveled by his vehicle, he applied the brake to the signal.
This disturbs some Danam associations, which comes from the back side in a car.
Then, the people in the car come down and take an argument on the road.
Knowing about the incident, the local police reached the place and shifted the Association of Subba Rao and Danam to the police station.
Knowing that his colleagues were taken to the Banjara Hills police station, Danam reached the station despite being the Minister of State.
While inside the police station, the driver Danam C Raju attacked Subba Rao about the encouragement of Danam.
“The court sentenced Nagender and Raju funds under the part 323 IPC and gave them 6 months in prison in addition to directing them to pay a fine of RS 1,000,” Public Prosecutor at MLA & MP Court, Narayana, told TII.
Danam accused of no 2 in this case.
The complainant is a minister staff in the police department.
