HYD: Two killed, 1 injured as crackers exploded on the face

Hyderabad: Diwali’s celebration ended with a tragedy for two migrant families on Thursday night with two dead and other men were injured in the cracker explosion in the possibility in Chatrinaka.
The accident occurred when the trio, in their efforts to get a bigger explosion than the mix of their crackers, buried them, put the rock and then turned on the fire.
A large-scale explosion sent falling stone flakes, injuring one and killed two who were hit by the skull.
A loud explosion caused panic in the area for a while.
Two died, Jagannath Malik (25) and Wisnupadha Mahatamato (25), came from West Bengal, while Virender Kumar who was injured came from Uttar Pradesh.
All three are idol makers.
The incident occurred around 11pm at their idol manufacturing unit.
“Those people have made a small hole and burying several joint crackers along with other explosives.
The stones above explode together with crackers.
Jagannath and Wisnupadha were killed instantly because of their skull fragments,” said Chatrinaka Inspector Syed Abdul Khader Jilani told Tii.
There were several more people in this unit, but they sat a little far and not hurt, police said.
Team instructions are called to check explosives and find out whether men have added additional chemicals used in making idols for their crackers.
