Hyderabad: A 30-year-old woman, who filed a complaint with the police two days ago alleged that she was gangraped by her neighbors and her two friends, on Sunday told the police that she had filed a false complaint.
The police have sent the detail of FIR and the latest statement of the victim to legal opinion.
The complainant, who has worked as a domestic aid, is divorce from the Golconda area.
Two days ago, he filed a complaint with the Golconda police who alleged that the owner of the grocery store from his neighborhood and his two friends conducted sexual harassment a month ago after taking him out in the car with the pretext of renting a house.
“The complainant alleged that about a month ago, while he was looking for a house on rent, his neighbor and his two friends assured him to accompany him in the car to see the house in the Shaheen Nagar area.
He alleged that the trio had binded his limbs and raped him in the car,” said Inspector Golconda K Chandrasekhar Reddy.
The complainant also accused his neighbor threatening it with a gun and warned him not to leave the house, forcing him to stay in one month.
“They also took my photos on the phone and threatened to show others if I told anyone about the attack,” the complainant told the police.
Based on complaints, the police have registered a gang rape case below Section 376 (2) (g) IPC and sends victims for medical examinations.
“On Sunday, the complainant came to the police station and gave a statement that he had filed a false complaint against neighbors when he refused to give him Rs 10,000 when he asked for the amount of medical treatment.
We have sent details for legal opinions and based on our adversions will start appropriate legal action, “Inspector said.
