Hyderabad: The green space measuring around 600 square meters in Hyderguda’s Sanjeevani Hills faced the threat of encroachment with the authorities delaying the development of the park approved by Huda, the local residents said.
About eight years ago, civil authorities agreed to the proposal for park models on land, with limited spaces for jogging and children’s game zones.
However, there is no job starting here so far, even though there are some representations.
“We have been waiting for the authority to take the development of the park since the time of the housing colony appeared.
The authorities have built the boundary and regulate the gate, but there is no work that has been done to cleanse wild vegetation in it and develop some basic facilities for residents,” said Rajendra Prasad , Secretary, Sanjeevani Hills Somfare Society.
Residents also said that of eight ground pieces approved for the development of parks and beauty work, only one was developed.
“This green room is now a desert full of wild vegetation, snakes and mosquitoes because the land is located right next to the River Eses.
We also submit a representation to the commissioner of GHMC and Zonal Commissioner on this issue,” said Anand Rao, a resident of Sanjeevani Hills Colony.
When contacted, the Biodiversity Officer of the GHMC Diversity, Prasanna Kumar said he would ask the problem and look for time until Saturday to explore all the details.
