Hyderabad: A nine-year-old girl allegedly raped by a 19-year-old young man in the old town of Mangalhat in early morning while his parents were far from home.
Allegations since it was arrested.
The defendant, who came from the same locality, took the girl to the place under construction where he forced him.
“He sexually attacked the girl.
When he raised the alarm, he escaped from the place,” said ACP, Goshamahal, M said Reddy narender.
The defendant is a member of Troupe Orchestra.
Based on complaints from the girl, the police registered the case and launched the hunt.
After going through a CCTV camera footage, officials found that the defendant saw the girl walking alone near her house.
He took advantage of the situation and raped him, police said.
“From CCTV footage, we identified the defendant.
Our team then caught him from the same locality,” said West Commissioner Zone Ar Srinivas.
The girl was sent for a medical examination.
Based on doctor’s opinion, a registered rape case.
Around midnight on Wednesday, the girl went to the police to complain about her ‘rude’ husband.
When they got home, his daughter was not there.
