Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man who works at a local club has been ordered for allegedly raping a 14-year-old neighbor in Banjara Hills.
While the incident was reportedly reported on September 14, it was revealed on Wednesday after the family filed a complaint with police Banjara Hills against the defendant.
“The accusation of raping the girl at her relatives’ house and threatened her not to reveal the incident to anyone.
On Tuesday, the girl gathered quite courage to tell her family members about the attack and they filed a complaint to us,” said ACP M Sudarshan.
ACP said that both of them were neighbors and defendants had been friends with little girls, a 7th grade student, a few months ago.
He took him to his relatives in the film Nagar when he wasn’t home on September 14 and raped him, according to ACP.
The girl was sent for a medical examination, while the defendant, according to sources, was under police detention.
The case has been registered under the IPC 376 and Pocso act against the defendant.
