Hyderabad: Closure of several private companies, in the middle of a raging pandemic, has thrown many women in the old city of work.
To help them stand up again, some centers have now started work-oriented courses – especially for housewives and young girls from the area.
Among them is the Jalalatul ILM Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Chicago and certified by the Corporate Affairs Ministry.
This foundation has launched a tailor center, based on pilots, in Bahadurpura with the aim of providing training to girls from a bad background so that they can become independent.
“We will offer sewing, among other courses.
After the completion of the course, students will be given a sewing machine, free,” said Sameena Bashir Quadri, the team took the lead with the foundation.
He added: “The purpose of preparing a free tailor center is to help our sisters, economically.
We want them to learn how to become financially independent along with doing housework.
This training is provided free of charge under the supervision of sewing experts.”
