Hyderabad: Eight years died because Almirah fell to him

Hyderabad: A eight-year-old girl was killed after almyirah fell to her while playing with her sister (5) in a room in a private school in Boduppal where her mother worked.
The mother, housekeeping staff, had brought children on Monday night when she worked at school and no one took care of them at home, police said.
The woman, Latha, had left both K Keerthi (8) and Rohita (5) (5) locked in the room to remain safe when she went about her work.
“The two girls opened the almyirah of wood and it collapsed at Keerthi when they tried to enter.
The girl suffered a severe head injury.
Their mother rushed to the room and shifted Kererthi to the nearest hospital where she later died,” said Inspector B Anji Reddy.
The police registered the case.
