Hyderabad: Entrepreneurs are held to travel to Libya

Hyderabad: The airport police arrested a businessman who arrived from Dubai on Monday for visiting Libya.
The man was identified as Syed Haji Ismail, Indigenous Kalaburagi in Karnataka.
“…
note that Hajj traveled to Libya from Dubai through Istanbul on June 22 and lived in Libya until July 9 because the government had issued a ban on Indian citizens from traveling to Libya in April 2016, a case registered on the IPC.
Part 188 and Section 12 Passport Act, “said RGI Airport Inspector P Vijay Kumar.
Haji told the police that he had operated a computer hardware business with Saudi citizens in West Asia and traveled to various countries to work.
“A businessman from Libya had to pay around Rs 1 Crore to the Hajj and when he continued to postpone payment, the Hajj went to Libya to meet him.
He said he did not realize the ban and had previously visited Libya before the ban,” police said.
