Margao: Hyderabad FC on Sunday announced their last 26 squad for the upcoming edition of the Super League Indian, which will be held in three cave places for the second consecutive season.
Season 2020-21 saw a number of players standing up and put some brilliant performances for Manolo Marquez’s side and he had up to 15 of the same players to work with this time too.
Joel Chianese striker and midfielder Joao Victor are two foreigners to continue with the club from last season, because Hyderabad made 11 new additions on their troops, ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Defender Juanan Gonzalez, midfielder Edu Garcia and Bart Ogbeche striker and Javi Siverio are four new additions to the foreign contingent at HFC.
Aaren D’Silva, Jadhav Aniket and Gurmeet Singh’s goal is some interesting signing by the club outside the season while Pritam Soraisam’s experience and Nim Dorjee Tamang made the backline stronger.
Hyderabad also promoted some young people who promised at Mark Zothanpuia and Abdul Rabeeh from the current reserve team would be part of the first team squad for the club.
Maintaining their focus on youth, Manolo Marquez squad in Hyderabad FC continues to have nine U23 players in the squad including five development players, with some of them starting to play an important role for the club in the upcoming ISL campaign.
Maintaining continuity at the club, the first team staff and coach staff also remained the same from last season.
Hyderabad FC began their campaign with a clash against South neighbors Chennaiyin FC on November 23 at the Bambolim Stadium.
