Hyderabad gets more than 100mm rain in a few hours

Hyderabad: The city received rainfall of more than 100mm on Saturday with several areas flooded and witnessed the fall of trees.
In accordance with the Telangana state development planning data (TSDPS), until 8pm, LB Nagar has received the highest rainfall with 106.3mm, followed by Bathukamma Kunta (105.5); Maruthi Nagar (102.5); Kachiguda and Cherlapally (82.3).
Other areas such as Malakpet, Mouli, Balanagar, Nagole, Begumpet, West Marredpally, Malkajiriri recorded rainfall between 20mm and 80 mm.
The Moosaarambagh Bridge in Malakpet briefly sank with commuters traveling through the Malakpet TV Tower towards Amberpet who looked navigating stretching.
Water recedes in one hour, said an official.
Meanwhile, in the Mangalghat area, the 30-minute rainfall mantra caused a large puddle of water.
“Water flows to the path in Dhoolpet.
