Hyderabad: A 45-year-old guard from Nepal was sentenced to a 15-year-high prison by a local court on Tuesday for sexual exploitation from his two small daughters in 2018.
The defendant worked as a guard in the apartment in Shamshabad.
In 2018, the defendant had sexually exploited his small two daughters, around 14 and 12 years old, in their home, Ashok Kumar officers said.
“Even though some other family members were aware of the attack, they could not stop the defendant because of fear.
The incident was revealed when the girls finally gathered quite courage and told me some neighbors,” Ashok Kumar said.
Police immediately arrested the defendant under it 376 (2) (F) (N) Indian criminal code (IPC) and Section 5 (1) & 6 of the Pocso Law.
The charging sheet has been submitted in 2019.
After the trial, the MSJ Court LB Nagar punished the defendant on Tuesday and punish him to undergo a 15-year-high imprisonment.
The court has also provided compensation for Rs 6 lakh for each of the two victims.
“The girls have shifted to the rehabilitation house after the incident,” said Ashok Kumar.
