Hyderabad: Man drifts with flow in music

Hyderabad: A man who wanders Musi to have fun in a strong current in Chaderghat on Friday morning.
He did not know swimming and had entered the water at the point where the depth increased by almost 15 feet due to excavation recently for desilting by city staff, officials said.
Rescue operations are to find the body.
Chaderghat Cops said that Mohammed Jahangir (35), a cook, entered Musi around 10 am and dropped deep into the water who did not realize the depth.

“The family was nearby when the incident happened.
The information he had climbed while attending a nature call was wrong.
He himself entered the water to swim, even though he did not swim,” Chaderbphat said P Babu.
When the police reached the place after being notified by the family, Jahangir had disappeared in the water.
Police said locals often enter the water to play because the slums were along the Musi.
In the past, the police had set up pickets to stop people from entering water.
Because of heavy rain recently, the flow in Musi was strong, police said.
Both Chaderghat and Kachiguda police are looking for him to coordinate with GHMC.
Officials said they made an effort to bind NDRF in search operations.
