Hyderabad: Dabeerpura police arrested a social activist, Syed Saleem, for hurting people’s religious sentiments for allegedly put up offensive posts on social media with Morphing all photos of Mlais-e-Ittehadul Mla Akbaruddin Owaisa (AIMIM).
On Tuesday night, Mehraj Dildar Khan, a businessman from Chanchalguda, filed a complaint against Saleem accused him of posting a photo of Akbaruddin who changed and made a statement that harmed religious sentiments from certain sects.
“Based on complaints, we registered the case against Saleem and arrested him on Wednesday, said Inspector N Satyanarayana.
Meanwhile, it might be remembered here that the Cybercrime police recorded a case on Tuesday, against someone on charges of morphing and circulating the image of the head of Aimim Asaduddi Owafisi met Rashtriya SHAYAMSEVAK SANGH (RSS) Head of Mohan Bhagwat.
