Hyderabad: A Nigerian student was arrested for peddling drugs near GVK Mall in Road No.
1 in Banjara Hills on Saturday night.
He has four grams of cocaine that owns and sells it at Rs 8,000-10,000 per gram, police said.
The defendant, Daniel Ayotunde Olyide (33) from Lagos, was picked by South Zone Police Satch Satps after being tipped.
Olyide, who was a Vivekananda title of the College title in Kukatpally, has arrived in Hyderabad in 2014 on a student visa.
He lived near the Dream Valley in Shaikpet.
The police also confiscated a scooter from him.
According to Inspector S Raghavendra, Daniel was an addict and began peddling cocaine a few years ago after touching the seller around Nigeria based in Delhi, John Paul.
Daniel was arrested before by Langar Houz Police in October 2020, the inspector said.
Daniel returned to peddling after leaving the prison recently.
He was ordered under the NDPS law and was handed over to Punjagutta Polda.
