Secunderabad: Although international journey was limited by 2021, the year saw a 4.42 lakh passport issued by the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad, a massive leap of 2.93 lakh for 2020 pandemics, in 2019, before the pandemic, the number is 5.54 lakh.
On Tuesday, Hyderabad RPO Dasari Baliaiah released data on passport services provided during a pandemic, online slot rations and police cleaning certificates (PCC).
RPO, Hyderabad, issued 100% online slots to order appointments in four Seva Bendras (PSKS) passports, 14 Post Office PSK and one passport Laghu Kendra, said Balalak.
“To reduce delays in getting promises, 200 slot appointments per day was released along all PSK in December 2021,” Baliaiah said.
Although last year’s lock, RPO never stopped passport services and attended all emergency requirements.
Post-lockdown on May 2021, the passport office opened with a 50% appointment in June and then with 75% in August.
Following passport demand, 100% promise was released from September 23.
