Hyderabad: Covid-19 vaccination drive for children aged 15 to 18 years continues to receive cold response in Hyderabad, with only a few of them appearing in most centers, disclosing data from a fever survey, being carried out from the last four days.
So far, only 6,752 young people found have received their first jab while officials have completed a 6.52 lakh household survey so far.
Even the actual numbers according to health bulletins show that Hyderabad is the lowest district of fifth in getting under 18 teenagers.
So far, officials gave the first dose between 89,696 young people from the 1.8 lakh target population, counted 49%.
The Fever survey also shows that the prudence booster dose is given among one in four people who meet the requirements in the city.
Fever surveys conducted on Monday increased the number of symptomatic cases of up to 1.78 lakh of the 42 lakh houses surveyed.
The Hyderabad district reported the third number of cases with 10,077 while the Kothagudem District established first with 12,000 cases and around 11,000 symptomatic cases in Sangeddy.
Officials said that they had distributed 1.78 lakh’s house isolation kits.
