Hyderabad: District administration has made arrangements to evacuate families along the Musi River and the lowland area of half a dozen mandal after notification of hyderabad metropolitan water supply and sewerage boards (HMWS & SB) above the water surface that rises in the Himayattasagar reservoir.
Division Revenue Officers Hyderabad Venkateswarlu told Stoi on Saturday: “The necessary command has been issued for Tahsildars of Charminar, Golconda, Asifnagar, Himayathnagar, Nampally and Bandlaguda to overcome the flood situation if the water gate is opened.
We also have requested income officials for Identifying a suitable place located in its respective jurisdication to evacuate the family.
