Hyderabad: Three friends died after their bike was run by a truck on Saturday night near Chandrayangutta.
Mailardevpally police said that the bicycle was pushed on the wrong side, which caused the accident.
Officials said that Shaik Qamruddin, 35, Syed Jameel, 22, and Syed Bablu, 27, died in place.
The incident occurred between Chandrayangutta and Aramhar.
Rider, Qamruddin, who has a fake hand, drives a vehicle on the wrong side after reaching the intersection.
Apart from being on the wrong side of the road, riders speed up the vehicle, following a bicycle skid and three friends fall on the road.
Meanwhile, the truck ran more than three people and the deceased was destroyed under his wheels.
“Lorry’s driver was innocent because he had taken the right route.
However, the bicycle accident was sudden and the truck happened to run on a bicycle,” police said.
The deceased, which is a worker, is a resident of Azam Nagar in Langar Houz and comes from Maharashtra.
“The deceased is not wearing a helmet.
We verify if the driver has a valid or not SIM.
Interestingly, the motorbike was bought by Qamruddin on Saturday morning,” police said.
The accident occurred when friends returned home from the function in Vattepally.
The police registered the case below the 304a section (negligence that caused death) IPC.
