Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UOH) remains among the top institutions in the ranking of QS Asia 2022 released recently.
From ranked 687 higher education institutions, UOH is in 156 and is in the top 22% in Asia.
This is 12 among all Indian institutions.
Likewise, the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H) is ranked 224.
It is ranked 15th among all Indian institutions.
University of Icfai, Hyderabad, and Kakatiya, Warangal, are ranked 651+.
“Although happy to see universities between the big 160 in Asia, we have more to do.
We need to focus on increasing all parameters to be one of the best institutions throughout the world,” said Prof.
BJ Rao, Uoh Deputy Chancellor.
He increasingly observed that the latest research also showed high rankings for many individual UOH faculties, along with QS, showing a growing culture of research.
Rated 35 regionally, staff with PhD indicators are the strongest for UOO followed by ranked 72 for paper per faculty.
QS World University Rankings is a university ranking publication, published every year by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
This institution is ranked based on parameters such as academic reputation, reputation of employers, faculty-student ratios, staff with PhD, quote per paper, paper per faculty, international research network, international exchange students, inbound and outbound.
